HydroNest — Privacy Policy
HydroNest is a hydration-tracking app for iPhone and Apple Watch. This policy explains what information the app handles, where it is stored, and who can see it. The short version:
Your hydration data belongs to you and never reaches us. Everything you log stays on your devices and, if you enable it, in your own private iCloud account. HydroNest has no servers of its own, no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. We — the developers — have no way to see your data.
What You Log
HydroNest stores the drinks you log (type, amount, and time), your daily goals, reminder preferences, and app settings. This data is kept in the app's private storage on your device. It is shared with the HydroNest widgets and the Apple Watch app on your own devices only, so they can show your current progress.
iCloud Sync
If you use iCloud, your hydration data syncs between your devices through your private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit). This data is tied to your Apple Account, is encrypted by Apple, and is accessible only to you — not to us. Turning off iCloud for HydroNest in your device's iCloud settings stops the sync. Apple's handling of iCloud data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
Apple Health
You can optionally connect HydroNest to Apple Health. When enabled, the app writes your logged water and caffeine intake to Health — it does not read any of your Health data. Health data stays in Apple's Health app under your control; you can revoke access or delete the entries at any time in the Health app.
Reminders & Notifications
Hydration reminders are scheduled locally on your device. HydroNest does not send push notifications from any server, because it has none.
Purchases
HydroNest Premium is processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, payment details, or Apple Account information. The app stores only an anonymous entitlement status (whether Premium is unlocked) provided by Apple's StoreKit framework.

Deleting Your Data
Deleting the app removes all data stored on the device. To also remove synced data from your iCloud account, delete HydroNest's iCloud data in Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage. Health entries can be deleted in the Health app.
Children's Privacy
HydroNest is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes to This Policy
If a future version of HydroNest changes how it handles data, this policy will be updated at this same address and the effective date above will change.
