Kamera — Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 25, 2026

Kamera is a low-light and night-vision camera app for iPhone. This policy explains what information the app can access, how it is used, and what happens to it. The short version:

Kamera does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything the app does — image enhancement, video recording, photo processing — happens entirely on your device. The app has no servers, no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.

Camera

Kamera uses your device's camera to show a real-time enhanced low-light preview and to capture photos and videos. Camera frames are processed on your device and are never sent anywhere. Photos and videos you capture are saved only where you choose — your photo library.

Microphone

Microphone access is used solely to record audio when you record a video. Audio is stored only inside the videos you capture and is never transmitted or analyzed.

Photo Library

Kamera requests add-only access to your photo library, which allows the app to save your captures without being able to read, browse, or view your existing photos. The Photo Rescue feature uses Apple's system photo picker: you explicitly choose the photos to enhance, the app receives only those photos, and all processing happens on your device.

Location (Compass)

Kamera can display an on-screen compass. To do this it reads your device's heading (the direction the phone is pointing) through iOS location services. Your geographic position is never requested, recorded, embedded in photos, or transmitted. The heading is shown on screen and immediately discarded.

Guard Mode

Guard Mode's motion-event thumbnails are stored privately inside the app's own storage on your device, not in your photo library. They never leave your device, and deleting the app deletes them.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the Lifetime unlock are processed by Apple through the App Store. Kamera never sees your name, payment details, or Apple Account information. Apple's handling of purchase data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy. The app stores only an anonymous entitlement status (whether Pro is unlocked) provided by Apple's StoreKit framework.

Data Collection Summary

Children's Privacy

Kamera is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes to This Policy

If a future version of Kamera changes how it handles data, this policy will be updated at this same address and the effective date above will change.
