The keyboard does not appear
Open Settings, then General, then Keyboard, then Keyboards, then Add New Keyboard, and pick ChartKey under Third-Party Keyboards. Then tap the globe key on the keyboard to switch to it. iOS does not always tell an app that it has been added, so the app may keep asking for a moment after you have done it.
My own snippets do not reach the keyboard
That is Full Access. Snippets, settings and learned words live in a shared container that a keyboard extension cannot read without it. Turn it on in Settings, General, Keyboard, Keyboards, ChartKey, Allow Full Access.
ChartKey keeps working without it. Typing, autocorrect, the protection list and the built-in dot phrases all stay alive; only the shared library goes quiet.
Dictation
Dictation runs on your iPhone using Apple's on-device speech recognition, and it happens in the ChartKey app rather than in the keyboard, because iOS gives keyboard extensions no microphone. Tap the microphone in the ChartKey panel and the app opens, records, and hands the finished text back.
If it says the model is not ready, iPhone has not downloaded its on-device dictation model yet. Open Settings, General, Keyboard, Dictation and turn it on, then give it a few minutes on Wi-Fi.
Purchases and restoring
Prices and the renewal term are shown on the paywall before the purchase button, exactly as the App Store reports them, and so is any introductory offer when the App Store has one. Restore Purchases is in Settings inside the app.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by ChartKey. To cancel, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Privacy
The keyboard has no network access at all, so nothing you type can leave your phone. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
What ChartKey is not
ChartKey is a typing tool. It is not a clinical reference and not a decision-support system, it offers no diagnosis and no dosing advice, and clinical content should be confirmed against your institution's approved sources.
