Report a wrong entry
Wrong entries are worse than missing ones. If something in the dictionary is wrong, we would rather hear it and remove the entry than leave it standing.
What helps most
- The ingredient name exactly as Dalil shows it, and the E number if there is one.
- What the app says now, and what you believe it should say.
- A source we can read. A link to a published ruling, a certifier's list or a regulatory document. This is the part that decides how fast we can act: an entry cannot be changed on an argument alone, for the same reason it could not be written on one.
- The dictionary version, shown at the bottom of the app's Settings screen.
What happens next
- We read your source.
- If it holds, the entry is rewritten with that citation, or the topic is added to the Rulings tab with both positions if your source and ours genuinely disagree.
- If we cannot verify either way, the entry is demoted to identified, not yet classified, and ships with its identity fact and no verdict until it can be settled.
- The change goes out with the next dictionary version.
