Corrections

If Litmus shows something wrong about a product, tell us and it gets fixed.

Email engr.kamalnasir@gmail.com with the subject line Correction. A reply comes from the developer, usually within a couple of days.

For manufacturers and brand owners

If an ingredient list, a product name, or a flagged ingredient shown in Litmus is wrong or out of date for your product, we want to correct it rather than argue about it. Please send:

Corrections are applied in the next data build and shipped with the next app update. If a correction is urgent because the app is showing something materially misleading about your product, say so in the email and it will be prioritised.

How Litmus assesses ingredients

Every flag in the app names the source it came from, and the in-app Methodology screen publishes the scoring weights, the algorithm, and what each evidence tier means. Evidence tiers describe the strength of published evidence, not danger, and Litmus does not make categorical claims about any brand or product.

For shoppers

If a barcode resolves to the wrong product, or an ingredient list does not match the package in your hand, that report is just as useful. Include the barcode and what the package says.
